Studio 7t7’s Tex 35 Bonded Polyester Thread is made from 100% Polyester- the best fibre to use for your bag making.
So, what’s so good about sewing with a Tex 35 bonded polyester thread? It’s impossible to snap the Tex 35 thread, meaning your projects will truly stand the test of time, and your efforts will never go to waste.
Bonded threads have a polyester core and a polyester outer, which makes them structurally impossible to snap with your hands.
Due to its composition, Tex 35 Bonded Polyester Thread has a beautiful sheen that doesn’t compare to any other type of thread.
NO fibres will pill off of Tex 35 Bonded Polyester Thread, meaning the thread glides seamlessly through the machine.
Gutterman’s 100% polyester thread is a weight 30. Meaning, in comparison, our Tex 35 thread is thicker and much smoother than your regular sewing thread.
Compatible with domestic, semi-industrial and industrial sewing machines.
Tex 35 indicates the weight, or thickness, of the thread. The higher the number, the thicker the thread- when it comes to machine thread.

We know it can be surprisingly challenging to find a neutral thread that fits all your bag-making needs, so we decided it was time to end that struggle and design a thread ourselves. A satisfying blend of black, white and - you guessed it - grey.
6) Ice Cream Scoop;
a Neopolitan scoop in a thread. Ice Cream Scoop is a dreamy blend of pastel pinks, ‘turquoisey’ greens and yellows, grounded by a chocolate brown. This is the perfect option for someone who loves colour and neutrals in equal measure.
