Introducing the Mystery Thread Box!
Building on the success of the Studio 7t7 thread, many customers have asked for more options. A 7t7 club member requested a mystery thread box and so the Mystery Thread Box was born!
This is the pre-order of the thread box with shipping estimated at the end of August 2025.
Why pre-order? Previously one off boxes have sold out. By offering a preorder we can gauge interest and be sure to account for all who would like a box by letting you secure your box before we order the threads. There may be additional boxes available after the pre-order cut off but this can not be guaranteed.

Why Studio 7t7 Thread?
The Studio 7t7 thread is colour designed in house and is only available to us. We have chosen this thread for how amazing it works for bag making.
Tex 35 weight makes it suitable for domestic*, semi-industrial and industrial machines. It is a thicker weight that looks great on top stitching and is super strong for structural seams too.
Bonded polyester means that this thread has a polyester core and a bonded outer making it one of the strongest threads on the market. So strong that it is extremely hard to snap this thread with your bare hands.
Put these two characteristics together and you have a unique thread that is not only easy to use but that is really strong and gives you the professional finish you strive for on your makes.
Previously this thread has only been available as part of The Bag Maker’s Box and at shows. I am excited to bring this special box of mystery threads to you as a one off box and know that it will bring you a new level of creativity to your sewing projects.
*Some domestic machines have been found to not like this thread - this is often vintage machines and is quite rare. Please note that your machine may not be compatible for both top and bobbin thread. However we do recommend you use it in both top and bobbin on your machine and changing the bobbin to another weight should be a last resort to avoid inconsistancy in stitches.

Why is this a pre-order box?
By pre-ordering you are securing yourself a box that will ship at the end of August 2025. By offering this box at a pre-order we can be sure to order the correct amount of threads to that we can offer this to all who would like one. Previously we have sold out of one off boxes which is disappointing for many. We hope by offering this as a pre-order you won't miss out. Note: we may be able to order extra quanitities but this can not be guaranteed.
When will this box ship?
Boxes will ship at the end of August 2025.
I already have thread from you - is this different?
All the thread colour combos inside this box have never been sold before, these are all new colours. You will receive 4 x variagated spools and 1 x neutral colour spool. Each spool is 1800 metres of thread.
Is shipping included?
Shipping within The UK is included in the price of this box. International shipping is calculated at checkout. Please note that any customs or fees from shipping internationally regretfully are the customers responsibility. Please also see the USA/EU FAQ below if that is relevant.
Do you ship to The USA/EU?
We currently do not ship to the EU due to GPSR. You are welcome to ship to a UK address if you are in the EU (please check out the rules/info on this as rules can vary) and have this forwarded on but as a business we can not ship to the EU under this new directive at this time. We ship internationally outside of the EU and have resumed shipping to the USA. Please note that any customs or fees from shipping internationally regretfully are the customers responsibility.
